Q
: What is Lexton made of?
A : Lexton
is composed of acrylic resin and aluminum
tri-hydrate, pigments and stabilizers.
Q : What’s
the best way to clean Lexton on a daily
basis?
A : Soapy
water and a clean wipe will maintain the
surface of your Lexton countertop on a daily
basis. Ammonia-based cleansers such as Windex
provide a streak-free surface.
Q: Can Lexton be scratched?
A: Yes. Solid surface
counters are subject to light surface scratching.
Solid surface counters are renewable, however,
and a light abrasive cleanser and scotch-brite
pad will aid in removing such surface scratching.
Q:
How does Lexton perform against hot items?
A:
Do not place hot pans directly from the burner
or oven on the Lexton surface. Even though Lexton
can withstand sustained temperatures up to 225
Degrees Fahrenheit, prolonged or extreme heat
could cause yellowing. A trivet should always
be used!
